Sony BRAVIA Theater U Wearable TV Speaker

I bought this product as I tend to listen to my TV with wired headphones when alone. Other Bluetooth headphones/earbuds are either uncomfortable for lengthy viewing sessions or have an unexceptable level of lag. The neckband speaker is both comfortable and offers excellent sound, even without the 360 functionality (I have a non Sony TV). I have dropped a point as the speaker is not as quiet to those around me as expected. Connectivity is excellent - Turn on the TV, turn on the Speaker and they connect automatically (after the first pairing). Battery life is as expected (approx. 12 hours). I have also started to use these while making long calls and again, far more comfortable than headphones and the call recipient reports much better sound quality.

Interesting product. Possibly don't buy if you're looking for a home cinema experience or a high quality set of headphones as this isn't really a substitute for either. What it does do is provide you with good sound whilst not bothering others or cutting you off from the rest of the household. Much more social than either alternative. Very comfortable and easy to set up if you're familiar with Bluetooth. Works through the standard Sony Sound Connect App, though beyond a fairly rudimentary EQ, there's not much to control. Very comfortable to wear - I have used for watching TV, playing my PS5 and listening to music through my iPhone. In all cases, it's different from my existing kit - Sonos Soundbar and various Sony Headphones. I can enjoy a good sound experience whilst not being cut off from everyone else in the household. I got my set refurbished at a very good price - and for this, they are well worth the money. At full RRP it might be harder to justify. I've not had these for long but after working out what they are not, I am now very much enjoying the experience and see these as an excellent complement to the equipment I already have.

Band works well for concert videos keeps noise down while kids are sleeping!

I am happy with the neckband speaker I bought last month, it has performed as expected and the battery life is better than I expected. Have been using it to watch TV and listen to music pairing with my mobile phone. Still trying to figure out all its features and function to make full use of the product.

This item is brilliant! The speakers make the sound very clear. It is lightweight and you just cannot feel it on your shoulders at all. Love it and would highly recommend it!

Exactly what I expected. I am in my 70's and my hearing is not what it used to be. these are a game changer. nice and comfy round my neck and I love the surround setup. one thing the surround only works when the sound is in standalone mode.( no sound from TV speakers. ) but with speakers on they are still perfect for me cos I can hear when the wife talks to me. without having to flaff about with taaking headset off. love em !!

Bought this a few weeks ago and love it. Using it is like almost experiencing surround sound, with good stereo separation and clarity of speech - dialogue can be heard very clearly even at a low volume so I need not disturb neighbours by having to tune up the tv volume too loudly at night. Comfortable too as there’s nothing pressing on the ears. Highly recommended!
