Jbl PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus Portable Wireless Speaker

I really wanted to give it one star, but the sound quality is really good. I turned this speaker on for the first time. Says it needs a “software update” haven’t even used it ONCE. this update takes at least 30-45 minutes to download, while you CANT use it. Then, it’s not done. It takes 20-30 minutes to install the update… my phone is about to die now… it shouldn’t take this long to download let alone install an update when I just bought it. This really makes me sad, as I love the brand JBL they have really great speakers, but this is really making me disappointed.

I just bought this speaker and, honestly, the speaker itself is pretty awesome. The sound quality is sick, the light effects are great, and setup could not have been easier. It connected automatically and was basically ready to go right out of the box. The AI vocal removal is straight-up dark magic. I have no idea how it works as well as it does, but it does. So why the 1-star review? I specifically bought this for home karaoke because JBL advertises the ability to add a second microphone and even has a spot/holder for it. After buying the speaker, I found out that the second microphone and holder are not actually available for purchase, and there is apparently no timeline for when they will be. That is incredibly frustrating. If you're going to advertise a feature and design the product around an optional accessory, that accessory should actually exist and be available to customers. Great speaker. Terrible decision by JBL to advertise a karaoke feature that customers currently can't fully use.

You don't have to sync the mic, because it automatically connects. There is also a way to connect the mic to the back of the speaker for easier transport. There is also a shoulder strap for the speaker itself. The battery life is really good. This speaker was perfect, because my family loves karaoke. This is also perfect for family game nights. It is a bit heavy for my liking.

And when you turn it on and hear it playing for the first time the sound presence will blow you away coming from something so compact and easy to carry. Use loaded with features like love battery life, thumping base, customizable lighting, and plenty of new Ai features! I love it and I'm thinking of getting another one to pair with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jbl makes all sorts of fun speakers that do a great job of balancing value and features. They always get the sound right though. Karaoke on the go! The speaker does a wonderful job at projecting a very balanced bassy sound that will fill a large room it can pair with other JBL speakers that support the feature to broaden the sound over larger spaces. With the bass boost on it can get a little boomy depending on the song. Microphone volume is completely adjustable to dial it in to your liking. The way the AI takes the voice out of streamed magic is remarkable. It's adjustable as well to give you backup if needed. It has a built in light show with many patterns and colors. It does a wonderful job of providing visual entertainment even if your voice doesn't deserve the backup light show. It has a battery pack that is hit swappable which makes it easy to continue through the night if you can't plug in. It also has a USB port to charge a device if needed as well. Overall material quality is very rugged and it is a heavy unit that screams quality. . The carry strap mimics a seat belt and feels just as durable. There is a space on the back of it to hold a tablet for lyric duties. The companion app has all the settings and functions at your fingertips. It even has special sound effects to hype up your singing or grab attention. The microphone is hefty and feels of quality. It works very well and is USB rechargeable. It has a carry strap that watches to the back of the speaker. You do need to make sure you're careful with mic feedback according to how close you are and mic volume. Both the mic and speaker hold a long battery charge. I love this thing and it is a must if you like karaoke. Pick a song and wow your friends and neighbors tonight.

There’s also a wireless microphone included (hence the Plus) to sing along to your favorite songs with amazing AI vocal removal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this speaker!! This JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus is a very versatile speaker. It’s easy to carry and the built in microphone holder is extremely handy. I’ve used it to announce team match ups for a dart league and used it to host Karaoke nights as well. The AI voice control is AMAZING!! You can adjust how much of the original singers voice you hear on a song when you use it to karaoke so can hear a mix of the microphone and the songs singer. You can turn down the singing completely and just have background music if you are using it as a PA system. The battery life is excellent! The sound quality is extremely high and it’s much louder than you would expect. All in all I would recommend this speaker to anyone and everyone as it has so many possibilities for use and the quality is of the highest standard. Truly and excellent speaker.

I like how the microphone is designed and how the clarity vocals go through. The lights around the speaker give it great effects when it's dark outside or in a dark room. Love this product from JBL. The Bluetooth feature through the app is great. I highly recommend this product for small to medium get togethers.

This speaker comes with a microphone, turning any gathering into an instant karaoke party! You can play any song via Bluetooth, and using the vocal removal button, the speaker automatically takes out the vocals to your selected song and just plays the instrumentals. No searching for an instrumental only song or having to download additional software. The speaker comes with a strap, making it easy to carry to and from where you need to. I would guesstimate the speaker weighs approximately 15lbs, but the strap is well made, the weight of the speaker is hardly noticeable. The speaker keeps a charge, has the option to be plugged in, or use batteries to keep the fun going. There is a strap to hold the microphone on the back of the speaker. The built in mic spot, carry strap, and versatility on power makes setup very fast and simple. The speaker has lights on the front that play along with the music and the color can be changed. Overall the best party speaker I have ever come across!! Highly recommend!
