The sapphire color is gorgeous. Though petite, I did like the size of the stones. I noticed immediately upon trying it on, that the stones were flipping upside down. The necklace is very light. Maybe if the bezel around the stones were thicker it wouldn’t flip so easily. I returned as I already have a similar necklace with a similar issue.
I ordered the blue sapphire necklace. The stones were a pretty blue (not so dark almost black). The necklace is dainty but that was what I wanted. The stones are not so huge that they look gaudy. Perfect necklace!
I have been looking for a sapphire station necklace for a couple years to go with some sapphire earrings my husband bought me. Finally Macys had this one at a tremendous savings. I know because I have priced sapphires. I love it an will be wearing it very often because if you ask me 'Sapphires go with EVERYTHING'
