I tested it for 3 hr with hot water and it was still the same. I left it overnight and in the morning it was still lukewarm. No doubt this is one of the good thermal dispenser I have ever tried.

I purchased this to use for samples for my Wellness Tea Business, EMTeas. I did an initial test while cleaning it out with vinegar and hot water. I put vinegar and boiling water in overnight to soak and make sure it was clean. 14 hours later the water wasn’t still boiling hot but it was absolutely still hot enough that the tea would have been pleasant to drink. This will absolutely work for 6 hour farmers markets or wellness seminars.

I always wanted a carafe like this but this purchase ended in total disappointment. The plastic lid on top is extremely poor quality, the open /close clicker didn’t always work and the coffee I added for New Year’s Eve at 4pm was lukewarm before midnight ! Returning this!
Bought one for a party. Kept the coffee hot for hours. Comes with a nice long brush you can clean it with.
