Great purchase
It has two features my old caphalon didnt. Two pour spouts and inside markings for cups. Wonderfull additions I will surely use. Worth every penny.

Lovely pan
Have enjoyed this pan. Just wish it had more of a flare ( versus straight up and down) Tried to replace my old favorite pan. Love that it cleans easily and is dishwasher safe. Cant go wrong!

Old vs New Model = Better
I needed a new 2.5 qt for making rice, but didn’t know the newer version had the pouring spout, so had to work with the lid a a couple times to get my rice done correctly. Having the option to either contain steam or release steam, what a sensical solution?

Great quality nonstick pot
Recently purchased, exactly the right size w/all the features I need! I’ve never been disappointed w/Calphalon products. My daddy taught me, “Don’t buy poor quality bc you buy it twice.” I was also pleasantly surprised by the drain holes in the lid! Highly recommend this purchase.

Handle gets hot.
I like the pot and the lid. Unfortunately, the handle gets extremely hot. I have to use an oven mitt when handling it while it's in-use.

Hot handle
It was the exact same sauce pan I already owned, at least so I thought. However the handle was very different. When I first used it, I almost burned my hand. The handle got hot!! I thought maybe it was the way it was placed on the burners, so I tried it again. Same results.

They do wear out
I love all of my Caphalon pots and have had them for over 25 years. However I am having to replace them one by one as they are pealing on the bottom. It seems the finish is wearing off!

Review
I like the look and the size, but the handle gets very hot which I was not expecting. I have the frying pans and those handles do not get hot so it’s not consistent
