Kate Spade New York Acrobat Plaid Placemat 13" x 19", Set of 4

I love Kate Spade products and was excited to purchase these for Christmas. I loved them instantly but as others mentioned, there was a strong odor. I washed them in gentle cycle per instructions and they came out awful. The color faded drastically and now it looks like these are super old, used and passed down through decades as opposed to only having them for two days. Can’t return them and now I have 12 placemats that are of no use to me. So bummed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange of my honest review. These are pretty thick and a good size. The design is exactly as expected. They came with a very strong smell to them which is not great though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start with the pros here. The colors are beautiful and the quality is great. They are large and seem durable. Con: they stink. So bad! I figured they'd air out overnight after removing from the mailer but they didn't. It's like a sour milk smell that I'm not sure will wash out but I'm going to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are wonderful place mats! The quality is very nice and the pattern will go great with my decor. The texture seems like they won’t stain easily which is a plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells bad and cheaply made. Tried to separate the mats but they were stuck together, as if the glue melted. Looks like gift wrapping paper as well.
