Wüsthof Gourmet Black 2-Pc. Paring Knife and Shears Set

I love how sharp these shears are. The first and only time I used them they cut through without any force, but after washing them by hand they literally broke half. The screw is still in place but both sides separated. I tried to put them back together and thought maybe they were made to come apart for thorough washing, but come to think of it.. that’s very dangerous! What if they snap in half next time I’m using them like they did while washing? I scrambled to look through the reviews because they didn’t say anything about breaking before I bought them. I just found that under the set of three that includes these exact shears, someone else also said theirs broken in half after the first wash.

Solid knife, wonderful quality and super sharp! So easy to use and clean.

The Wusthof Gourmet Black set is one of their best set I have used.

The paring knife is a bit thinner than I expected, but still a great set. The shears are very high quality

Made a great gift.

I love this set. I had the same paring knife and broke the tip off of it. These knives have a life time warranty. I mailed it in and the retuned was handled quickly and easily. For my replacement I got the set of scissors and paring knife. I love them, very high quality and a really nice feel to them. Highly reccommend!

The set is a well balanced, beautifulymade set that can last a lifetime of daily use.

I thought I was getting the quality of my other knife. Would not order this again.
