Elite Cuisine 4-Slice Long Slot Cool Touch Toaster

One side gets darker than the other.

I was looking for months for this style of toaster. I wanted the longer slots for my sourdough bread. This is perfect! Took me a few try’s to figure out the settings. I would 100% recommend this toaster. Also it looks really nice on the counter.

Only used a couple of times; it works as expected.

Very disappointed it was made with cheap plastic. We do a lot of toasting in my family and I knew it would not hold up! Returned it going to get the stainless steel version.

The toaster works, which is a good start, and it is simple to use (I've seen some which are unaccountably complicated. For me, its best feature is that it accommodates a wide variety of bread sizes and types--I often like to toast longer slices (e.g., round sourdough, dense pumpernickel), and was surprised to find how few toasters allow much beyond the standard size. In practice, its toasting does not seem to be as regular and reliable as my last one, which died after about 30 years of service. I've been using the same general type of bread since I bought it (Pep Farm/Arnolds) and found it uneven. One time the edges were nearly charred while the center was barely tan), on another, the bread seemed to get a bit soggy near the middle, and on another, everything came out pretty good, by my standards--I tend to prefer a but darker and more done than average. The Elite seems to lean the opposite direction, but at the highest speed, it's pretty good. As advertised, it is cool to the touch that points you to your preferred, which is nice, but in my experience, not unusual. One deign point does irritate me particularly, however. The setting knob, like the toaster itself, is glossy black. So is the very small pointer. It is very hard to see, even n a brightly lit room on a sunny day. Some contrast would have helped.

After searching online for days to find a 4-slice toaster I found this one and am very pleased with it.

Very pleased. I had bought another toaster that was very disappointing. This one has been quite an upgrade. It does stink but the instructions say to run through a few empty toasts and they will burn off. It did. Glad to be able to toddy 4 slices at a time and really like that it has a cancel button.

Absolutely love it.

Moderate price, toasts larger artisan bread very well.

I needed a new toaster and this one is Great the only complaint is you can’t really see where the number setting is too well but other than that it works great
