We bought this stainless steel vegetable peeler in an effort to remove plastics from our kitchen, but after using it a few times, we tucked it away in the far back corner of the drawer and keep using the old one with the plastic handle. Inexplicably, the peeler blade of the Caraway swivels around rather than stay put, making the action of peeling a slow and laborious affair. Don't recommend this object.

I was excited to order upgraded kitchen tools. This one is quite heavy and not easy to use. I am disappointed as it was expensive.
