Crap

The JBL Tour Pro 3 is overpriced for the features it delivers. From a difficult to connect with app, a dated touchscreen interface to a poor noise cancellation it is amazing that it is being sold in it's current condition. It feels like a prototype rather than a finished product. The touch controls on the earpiece are truly difficult to use. Several times when using the earphones they permanently disconnected and could not find my new iPhone any more, I was without the case in the gym so had such a crap session as they didn't work. Now I'm forced to take my case with me wherever I go. The soundstage is good, and the battery life lasts forever. Call quality is good but these are not really redeeming qualities.

Great but not for long.

Bought these a year ago and was impressed with the sound, app etc. But a year in and I would say the built quality/software isn't great. I've had constant issues with the headphones not disconnecting from devices. This goes for both laptop and phone. I have forgotten the headphone and reset the Bluetooth connections and things have not improved.

Fantastic Ear Buds

Had three for a couple months and bought after reading great reviews . Well, they were accurate. These generate great bass and volume and have true solid JBL sound I appreciate . Will probably get a second pair . Worth every penny !

Good Earphones. Let down by software

Overall great earphones. Bought these after my tour pro 2 died. The spacial sound, talk through and transmitter features are fantastic. Software has a few issues that I don't like. Battery Charge - on the smart charging case the battery charge figures are so small that only a 20 year old could read it. I have only had reading glasses for 12 months, but without them I cannot read how much battery is left. There should be a screen that shows this in a larger font, not just wedged above the slide to unlock. Gestures - You only have a choice of a couple of profiles. They don't let you choose each action. I want volume control on my left, but am forced to have hold trigger Siri. I want hold to toggle ANC but this is not possible. You should be able to choose the action for each gesture like with other headphones. Talkthrough - why no 10 second option, only 5,15 or 20. Hopefully they will fix in a new update, but I had similar issues with my Tour Pro 2 so I doubt it.

Wow. Great audio, simple to use.

I bought his JBL Pro Tour to replace an older set of JBL earbuds and i was not disappointed. The JBL Tour Pro 3 is fantastic! These are extremely comfortable and the silicon tips fill and seal the ear canal for pure audio sound. The JBL signature low end is still present, but yet the mids and high end is crystal clear. Total audio immersion with this set of ear buds. The blue tooth connectivity is nothing short of amazing. It is quick to connect once out of the case and stays connected until put back in the case for charging, or when you disconnect from the app.

Brilliant Earbuds All Round

Superb earbuds. Great sound quality. Very useful noise cancelling, and I love the spatial sound options for listening that can make you feel that you are in front of an orchestra or band. This is my 3rd ear phones with JBL. I have the Sound Gear Sense and the Sense Pro, all of them have their place with me.

Great audio, Buggy software

I love the earbuds sound quality, with capability for great bass, and excellent pre-tuned modes. unfortunately the software is pretty buggy with it commonly mistaking audio for calls, which throttles down the sound quality, and cannot “end the “call”until the “call” stops and cannot be fixed by resetting the device. It also has a weird problem with randomly factory resetting itself (deleting any wallpapers on the device). Overall a well built device woth major software bugs.

Button customization.

The Tour Pro 3 buds are fantastic. Heaps of features great battery life and super comfortable. I only have one suggestion. Take a leaf out of Jabra’s user interface. Jabra have the amazing ability to customize the buttons in so many more ways… for example, I’d much prefer to hold the button for volume control rather than tapping for each incremental increase or decrease. I find this would make these buds infinitely more user friendly. That being said I still think these buds are great.

JBL Tour Pro 3 — Not Worth the Price

Purchased: December 2025 Broken: May 2026 Phone type: iPhone 16 Pro Use type: Heavy (music, podcasts, audio books, conference calls) JBL Tour Pro 3 — Not Worth the Price At nearly the same price point as AirPods Pro, the JBL Tour Pro 3 fails to deliver comparable quality or reliability. After only five months of heavy daily use, my left earbud stopped charging entirely — making these a significant disappointment for anyone depending on earbuds throughout their day. Pros: * The screen on the case makes it easy to adjust settings without downloading an app, which is especially convenient for iPhone users * Good battery life for both the earbuds and the case Cons: * The earbud shape is top-heavy and frequently fell out of my ear. I tried several different tip sizes but nothing improved the fit * The case screen is too bright and cannot be turned off. I use earbuds to fall asleep, and the bright light is disruptive when putting the earbuds away at night * My left earbud started showing signs of not connecting to the case for charging after 3 months of heavy use. By 5 months, it stopped charging altogether. I tried a variety of fixes with no success * The software is unreliable — the earbuds disconnected from my phone regularly, requiring me to turn Bluetooth off and back on to reconnect, which was frustrating when I couldn't locate my phone * The touch controls are overly sensitive and prone to accidental inputs. This was very frustrating. * There is very little aftermarket accessory support. Finding a protective case or other accessories was difficult, which is a real downside for anyone prone to dropping things. * Even with noise canceling off, the earbuds struggle to pass through voices in conversation. I had to fully remove them in order to hear people talking
