I got these for my husband. I was a little hesitant because some people said they ran small. They were absolutely spot on. My husband isn’t 8 1/2. I bought an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and have ridges on the bottom that will work very well when he goes hiking

These shoes are comfortable, easy to put on and true to size. I've only worn them for running errands.Looking at the shoe build, I'm not sure if toe/sole would hold up for running or athletic use.
