Fortessa Royal Pacific Brushed 5-Piece Place Setting

This flatware is beautiful and has a nice heft to it. I love the finish, with a couple of caveats. It must be hand washed with mild detergent (no problem there); but if you do not store it in the plastic sleeves the pieces are shipped in then they will turn a brassy color. I have used several settings once or twice and hand washed and dried with OG blue Dawn. When compared to the unused pieces still in the wrap, they are much more brassy. None of the recommended treatments from the Fortessa page have returned the pieces to their original muted champagne color. Please keep this in mind if you decide to purchase and retain the plastic covers from your shipment, as this is not mentioned anywhere in the packaging. Pictures to follow.
