I bought this product to keep my coffee hot, it does a fair job not as good as my double wall insulated aluminum mug but I think the flavor holds truer in glass. I have reheated in the microwave for the last 1/2 cup of coffee & that works well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main thing I love about these mugs is the stackable option. I live in an apartment with limited cabinet space. These are big mugs (13.5oz) and take up the space of one mug! The design is beautiful, and the double walled design keeps you from burning your hands on the cup (if you opt for a hot drink). As for the insulation, I'd say its more than a regular ceramic mug and less than a true insulated cup such as yeti. It works for me. The mugs are made from borosilicate glass, which makes them very light in weight. They don't feel sturdy like a regular ceramic mug. I haven't broken one yet, and it became my daily use cup for coffee/tea. That's the one downside to these. I wish there was a little more weight to them. Other than that, I love them! I would definitely recommend for small cabinet spaces.

The mug has a wide stable base so I am not afraid of it toppling over if the mug or the table is accidentally bumped. The mug is made of glass and I was quite surprised at how lightweight it felt. Since it didn't have the weight and heft of a regular mug I was skeptical as to how strong and sturdy it was going to be. When I used it for the first time to make a cup of hot coffee, I thought it was going to crack and break the very instant the hot liquid touched the glass. However, it didn't break! I have been using this mug every day since I received it and it has held up nicely. Since it is a double walled mug, it keeps your drink warm longer than a regular mug while remaining cool to the touch. The design of the mug also allows you to securely stack one on top of the other, which can save a bit of cabinet space. Even though it is dishwasher and microwave safe, I have only washed them by hand and I haven't had the need to put it in the microwave yet. These mugs look great and are very sturdy (despite my first impression) and I have been extremely happy with them.
