It feels super silky going on and sinks into my skin really nicely without leaving that sticky serum feeling behind. My skin immediately feels softer and more hydrated, but what I really love is how plump and glowy it looks afterward. I’ve been using it consistently and feel like my skin just looks healthier, smoother, and a little more refreshed overall. It layers really well under moisturizer and makeup too, which is a huge plus for me. You only need a small amount, so even though it’s definitely a splurge, it should last a while. The packaging is gorgeous too. This is one of those skincare products that actually makes me excited to do my routine!

I’ve been using it for about a week now, and what I’ve noticed the most is how rich and concentrated the texture feels while still being lightweight on my skin. From the application to the scent, the whole experience feels luxurious, almost like bringing a little bit of a spa into my nighttime routine. I have oily combination skin that’s also sensitive, so I pay attention to how a formula absorbs, the finish it leaves, and how my skin responds. You just have to use a little a bit of product to get your whole face covered and it starts working pretty quickly. I like the way the bottle looks as well making it appear very fancy. Despite them having a high price tag, the products really don’t compare to more budget friendly options. When using the serum, the first thing I notice is the smell of the ginseng (which I really love!). It’s lightweight and absorbs really easily into my skin which I appreciate because I hate thick serums. It’s not sticky or gross either but I liked to use it at nighttime 3x a week. The bottle is beautiful, elegant and looks gorg on my bathroom counter. The main ingredients are retinol and hyaluronic acid so it’s perfect for my anti-aging concerns and hydration especially with winter coming up. It feels light on the skin, it’s not oily at all. It also pairs really well with the First Care Activating Serum. It has these little capsules beads with 6-peptide blend that increase hydration and absorption . I’ve been using it morning and night, after washing my face, I apply this serum then follow with the moisturizer. My skin feels so hydrating, filled out and my wrinkles are much less noticeable. It absorbs nicely without feeling sticky, oily, or heavy and leaves a smooth, clean finish that works well under foundation. My face feels hydrated and refreshed, and I’ve noticed a little more firmness, which I appreciate since I’ve recently been noticing some loss of elasticity. The scent is herbal with a soft, powdery floral base. I really like herbal scents, although I could see it being a little strong for someone who does not. I also really like the pump bottle because it feels cleaner and more convenient than using a dropper or jar, and it makes it easy to dispense just the right amount. My only small complaint is that because of the way the cap works, I wish the base had a little more weight to it for easier use. I also wish the bottle were made of glass rather than plastic.
