I started using cork backed placemats in my kitchen to protect my table from the heat of dishes or anything else that could cause heat rings on the wood. The pattern and color are pretty and go with my kitchen. I have other pretty ones but they have a white background. I am hoping these won’t be as obvious if something gets on them.
I plan to use them on the patio picnic table. Even if the table is wiped down, the placemats will ensure a clean surface to eat food from. I also bought for my daughters Pretty pattern and strong cork.
This light green floral design placemat is very nice, I just like another one better.
