These fit horribly. For a wide calf boot they really aren’t that wide. The ankle section was painful and kept folding inward causing bruising. I wore them for a whole day and was in so much pain. I’m going back to my muck boots because those actually fit better and don’t cause me pain.

I bought this boot thinking that the wide calf would work for us stocky folks. The wide calf is nice, but if you're just a big boned person, these boots fit horribly. The wide calf works well for the bigger calf, but the boot shaft reduces in diameter far too much and results in an extremely tight fit around the ankle. For the most part you can't even pull the boot on all the way because the shaft reduces too much in this area.
If these are supposed to fit over big calves they most certainly do not. Hardly fit over calves - definitely not when wearing pants. Very disappointed with the fit.
The Xtra Tuff boots are superior to any I have ever had for fishing in Alaska. They have great tread that doesn’t slip on the wet docks and ramps. However, I’d never recommend Fed Ex Smart Post for shipping your boots. The worst customer service I’ve ever had.

Yeah the little strap things always come loose and the buckles are cheap as heck but they’re the only xtratufs that fit my calves. So the straps just kinda flap around all the time. Switching to muck boots next time around.
The straps immediately ripped and were useless. I used electric tape and that helped keep them together
Clasps for adjusting the side bellows broke within two weeks. Heels are starting to separate. I've only had these boots for 6 months. They don't make Tufs like they used to. Wouldn't recommend these over the standard legacy boot.
