Patchology Chill Mode Calming Hydrogel Single Face Mask

While I found this mask to be very cooling, as expected, I didnt feel the calming effect as claimed. My skin was left feeling hydrated tho which I liked. Prob wont purchase again tho.

( as my skin is so prone to them) It even calms and reduces my pimples and redness I usually wear it in the evening for about an hour! And it gives the best results

I was really excited to try this mask. I had a super tough day and I just wanted to relax and have some me time. When I opened the package wow! It looked like the mask was just covered in serum. It was super jelly and I was so into it. As I peeled the backing I slowly realized it wasn't really filled with serum, it was just bubbles from the jelly mask. I was a bit torn by the fact that it didn't have a scent. I am happy because fragrance usually makes me breakout, but being a chill mode mask i assumed it would include some sort of aromatherapy to relax you. Once on it was very cooling. I didnt even put it in the fridge and it gave me this lovely cooling sensation. I left it on for about 20 min as I relaxed. I really loved the gel mask vs the paper. It was a bit big around the nose and it wouldnt sit flat by my eyes, which was a bummer. I really wanted that cooling under my eyes, but the eye holes were so big no matter how I bunched it, it wouldn't sit where I wanted it to. Overall the gel was great, and the cooling felt nice but the lack of fit and excess serum made this mask a bit lack luster for me.

I’ve tried this mask as a birthday gift from a friend of mine. I loved it, the cool sensation was made my face feel rested. Highly recommend this product.
