This is the most durable pitter that I have used and is worth the extra couple of dollars. I initially purchased OXO brand but found that it would break within a few months of use (mainly with cherries). This Joseph Joseph not only feels great in my hand but is also made from a better/stronger material.
Dealing with Macys pickup at white marsh mall is the only reason for this review rating. They have 2 stores but did not specify which location in order details. Then the "employees " were the most surly and rude people I've encountered in the past 3 years. Better sell this item in Walmart-- at least you are warmly greeted!
It doesn't fit olives of every size.
When you need one you need this. Works great. Would probably not stand up to heavy use but is perfect for the occasional use. I was happy to have found it.
