The fabric (supposedly oxford) is far below what I'd come to expect from Ralph Lauren. It didn't fit, feel, or iron right. I thought that it might just need to be broken in. After the third wash (cold in Seventh Generation-very mild-detergent) my underarms were stained. I have 20-30 year old shirts (mostly Ralph Lauren & Brooks Bros) that have no underarm stain or fading. Also after noticing the underarms, I noticed splotching or very uneven fading elsewhere on both of the shirts I bought. The sizing is fine if you want to waste your time and money trying. A waste of money and a fail in every respect.

The quality of Polo Ralph Lauren garments has declined significantly, while prices have increased dramatically. I recently purchased two Polo Ralph Lauren Solid Garment-Dye Oxford Short Sleeve Woven Shirts & was extremely disappointed with both the quality & the sizing. I have worn a size Large for years, yet these shirts fit more like a Medium. The moment I tried them on, I could tell that something was off—not only with the sizing but also with the fabric itself. The material felt noticeably different from the high-quality standards that RL was once known for. What is especially frustrating is that both Ralph Lauren and Macy’s continue to raise prices substantially while offering products that appear to be of lower quality than in previous years. Customers are paying premium prices but no longer receiving the premium quality that made the brand famous. As a result, I will be returning both shirts. Based on my experience, I find it difficult to recommend this product to others!!!!!

Ralph Lauren Polo shirts are the best made shirts I’ve ever found!

After 1 wash (proper/delicate washing done), and the shirt shrunk. What a disappointment! It's a waste that I couldnt use it again.
