It took a few days to get used to the shaver coming from a Braun Series 9 but now that Im used it the shaver cuts really close,you do have to slow down your movements compared to Braun but Im happy with the Arc 5 so far.
I rlly don’t like the way it shaves. All my hair still in my face even if I shaves many time.
This is the worst Panasonic shaver I have ever used. Two previous ones(different models) were excellent so I was expecting this model to be the same. Unfortunately not. Poor shave, very noisy and now the cleaning unit is not functioning and it is only a few weeks old. Knowing what I know now I would never have bought it. I regret my decision.
Completely dead in a little over 2 years, which is conveniently right when the warranty ends
I previously owned this model for several years and have always found it to be an excellent shaver. The cleaning station is incredibly convenient and makes maintenance really easy. The only downside is the cost of replacement cutters/foils, although thankfully these only need replacing about once a year. Overall, a great shaver that I would definitely recommend.
The closeness of shave is about what you’d expect for most razors at this price range. For me, my face stays smooth most of the day but I can feel growth again by early evening. What I love about this razor though is the automatic cleaning station - it’s take the chore out of cleaning the razor meaning it’s a fresh shave every day. Love it!
For the cost I expected better results. I have to still use another shaver to finish the job. The shave is not as close as I would have hoped and it is tough to get all the spots. For the price, I would definitely try another electric shaver.
I just switched from the Braun *series to the ARC5 with cleaning station and have noticed a better shaving experience overall. However, I have a lot of Braun cleaning solution cartridges remaining and wondering how I could possibly use them up with the ARC5 before purchasing the Panasonic detergent pouches. Thanks for your feedback!
for the past few years i was using a 2 foil shaver intended for haircuts, until i switched to the ARC5. the difference was night and day! it cuts very effortlessly and leaves my face smoother than what i was getting before. i’ve been using this every other day and i love it each time!
It is aquality productthat can be depended upon. Quiet operation. smooth snf gentle glide. Charge lasts about 3 days max.
