I mix a few drops with sweet almond oil and use it for a self-massage or get someone to work it into my shoulders and lower back. The scent is *spicy and bold*—a mix of clove, peppermint, and wintergreen—that hits you right away, but in a good way. It actually wakes me up a bit before helping me settle into that relaxed, loose state. What I love most is the warming sensation it brings. It doesn’t burn, but you can definitely feel it working—like a natural version of those muscle rubs, minus the chemicals. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using this oil for the last 3 weeks for muscle pain but also to help with chest congestion from a cold. I find that the camphor is very beneficial both for muscle pain but as well to help you breathe better and to break up some of that gunk in your chest when you're sick. This oil has to be diluted as it is a pure essential oil, and NOW brand almond oil is really great for that! It absorbs quickly which is a huge bonus! I find this oil to be really relaxing both mentally and physically and definitely recommend it. It's a great place to start if you're not familiar with essential oils as well!
