Waykar 80 Pint Energy Star Dehumidifier with Drain Hose for Home, Basement & Large Space, up to 5000 Sq. Ft

So far so good but it’s only been a month. So far the pump works and my basement humidity is kept around 40% which is fantastic.

It has been up and running for about a month and works wonderfully! Perhaps the only bit of a problem is sliding the tray back in. I haven’t quite mastered the smooth transition needed.

I have purchased numerous dehumidifiers. Many have unneeded features. This is a beast. It gets the job done well. It works efficiently using the hose connected to a drain to avoid dumping the water. Great value too.

These 150 pint units are incredible. They pull a ton of moisture out of the air. Our 3000 sq ft house had humidity over 60% that made it feel quite sticky and with these units it's in the 40s. The pump is great so you don't have to empty the bucket several times a day. We did have an issue a few months in that Lauren at Waykar is currently resolving.

Unit is quiet and swing vent is handy. Unfortunately I need a bigger unit for my basement

I’ve been running this dehumidifier for about two weeks now and it pulls a good amount of moisture from my basement. I almost called Waykar to say the auto setting wasn’t working properly. I had read reviews stating the auto has a +/- 5%. I thought it would shutdown or startup WITHIN that range but it really needs all 5%. So I ended up setting the auto to a lower humidity level than I wanted because for it to turn itself back on, the humidity level was higher than I wanted. This also made me use the hose attachment rather than the tank as the tank would fill before the unit could drop the 5% below humidity setting.I wish it had a+/-3% instead. Overall, for the money it delivers what I need.

I have three of these. Had them for less than a year but they have all been doing their job. One did quit collecting water. But they are sending me a replacement.
