GreenLife 5.3 Quart Digital One-Touch Air Fryer

I bought this air fryer about a month ago after my old one stopped working. I specifically wanted something different that didn’t have the typical nonstick coating, and after reading all the positive reviews, I was convinced this would be a great replacement. There are definitely things I love about it. The tub is very spacious and can cook a lot of food at once, which is great for my family. It’s also very easy to clean, and I love the clear-view glass top because I can actually see the food while it’s cooking without constantly opening the drawer. Unfortunately, there are some design choices that really bother me and after using it for a month I’m not sure I would buy it again. The first issue is the power button. The on/off button does not actually turn the air fryer off once it’s running. You have to press the stop button instead. That seems like an unnecessary and confusing design choice. If there is a button labeled on/off, I expect it to turn the appliance on and off. The drawer/handle design is another major issue for me. My kids frequently move the air fryer away from the wall while it’s cooking, and the drawer doesn’t stay securely closed when the unit is moved. The handle should have a way to lock the drawer closed so that moving the air fryer doesn’t cause the basket to open. It’s incredibly inconvenient and, honestly, makes the design feel more frustrating than it needs to be. The temperature and time controls are also unnecessarily complicated. If I’m in a hurry and just want to add a few more minutes or increase the temperature, having to cycle through the same button is annoying. There is plenty of room on the control panel for separate temperature and time buttons. Instead, there are several other buttons/features that I personally never use. really wanted to love this air fryer because I love the ceramic cooking surface, the large capacity, how easy it is to clean, and especially the clear-view design. But the frustrating controls and drawer/handle design are things I have to deal with every time I use it.

I absolutely love how large the tub is. Not only is it good for cooking more food at once, but it’s large enough that you can flip food without burning yourself on the edges! Easy to clean, easy to use!

Can't take my eyes off the food while its cooking. Cooks really fast and its juicy not dried out. I don't use my big oven as much now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the GreenPan Bistro XL Clear Lid Air Fryer. The size is great for family meals and fits a good amount of food without overcrowding. The manual is easy to understand, so setup and cooking were simple. The cord length is convenient for most kitchen counters. It feels very durable and well-built, and the noise level is fairly low compared to other air fryers. Food comes out crispy and evenly cooked every time.

When I wanted a ceramic coated air fryer, I knew where to turn, to Green Pan, the folks who invented PFAS-free and ceramic coating! I didn't need to spend a fortune either to get a top of the line feature packed air fryer. It's the perfect size for one person or a family. I can even watch my food being cooked the whole time it's cooking through the Clear View. I did the research, watched the video's and this is the best for your money. I forgot to mention it looks sweet!
