Absolutely love this container. I bought it recently and will be using it often glass is certainly the way to go versus plastic. Wish there was a way to make the lid glass, but I know there’s not.
Dear Rubbermaid Customer Care, I’m writing to report a serious safety incident involving a Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass 2-Cup Round Storage Container. On Wednesday August 20th, 2026, after approximately30 seconds of microwave heating, the container shattered unexpectedly. I have safely microwaved other Rubbermaid glass containers for years without issue, including from frozen, which makes this failure particularly concerning. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the glass broke during normal use, and it created a risk of injury. I would like to understand whether this issue has been reported previously, whether there are any safety advisories or recalls related to this product, and what next steps you recommend. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, K. Smith
Love this stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am seriously impressed with the Rubbermaid Brilliance 6.1-Cup Glass Container. The quality feels so premium — the glass is thick, durable, and super easy to clean. The leak-proof seal is no joke; I can shake it, flip it, and toss it in my bag without a single drop leaking out. Perfect for leftovers, meal prep, or storing cut fruit/veggies. It also stacks beautifully in the fridge, which I love. Highly recommend if you’re upgrading your food storage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this round container to my existing Rubbermaid rectangle storage containers and love the amount of food it stores! I find myself opting for it over their large rectangle because the “round” shape still fits easily in the fridge.
