This is a really cute long midi dress that is essentially a maxi on me, I'm 5'5". I don't mind the extra length, but unfortunately the polyester - which I don't typically mind given the price - is the worst kind of polyester. Its that really cheap thin shiny polyester that will cling in the slightest amount of humidity/heat/sweat. I live in Florida and won't be able to enjoy this dress, and the cheap looking sheen is a turn off anyway. It's going back. But if Yumi offers this print in another fabric: I'm 100% there for it. It's a gorgeous abstract brushstroke with a color palette that will work for springs, summers, and soft autumn skin tones. If you are ok with the fabric: I recommend you get the dress! It is constructed well and the belt is also good quality with a nice piece of hardware. Size wise I would say it runs a little big. If you're between sizes: I recommend sizing down. I am between sizes based on the size chart and ordered a L but could have done just fine with an M.
