I am 5’3” tall and these fit as ankle jeans on me. I had these in the denim color was happy to find them at Macy’s in Levis faded black color at a good price. Even better they arrived in 2 days.
Great fit and color
Denim is nice and thick, love the classic 501 button fly. The "S" (Short) is actually a 26 length if that helps anyone, the cuff hits at my ankles but I am 5'3 with short legs so they work for me.
The short length is perfect for 5'-3" petite and reaches a tad below the ankle. The fabric is comfortable. I ordered 28 S. It fits as expected. The fly is buttoned.
These jeans are great. Perfect crop length for someone with short legs. Just the right amount of stretch but not too thin. I am on the curvy side and these conform to my shape without a gap in the waist. I hope to buy the same version in different colors.
I liked the look and I was excited to receive them. I ordered a size larger than my usual Levi’s. They were so small I could not even button them. I thought they sent the wrong size but looked and they were marked as the size I ordered. Maybe they were mismarked? Sent them back.

Love love love these jeans!!! I’m upset I waited this long to buy a pair. They feel like how jeans used to be with a tiny bit of stretch. They have deep front pockets! I missed the part that they were button fly but that’s ok. The cropped jeans aren’t skinny jeans and they end right at the perfect spot. I can wear my tennies with them or boots. They are a classic that I hope to wear for a long time.
