This is avery unique fragrance, strong but soft notes, long lasting, I get compliments every time I wear it.

I enjoy the Carbone EDP and decided to get the EDT for comparison. You get the same musk, Animalic and very seductive rose/civet/leather blend. However, it stays closer to the skin and barely forms any bubble around you. Basically, the EDT to me is for your personal enjoyment or if you love the smell of the OG but find it too strong. The EDT stays on clothes all day BUT you’ll have to dig your nose in to smell the fragrance. I like the EDT and appreciate how Balmain retained the smell from the EDP in this but tweaked the performance, as expected for an EDT.

Though the fragrance lasted for hours, the scent was simply too masculine for my taste. In fact, the scent resembled that of "olive oil" and was a bit too musky. My husband nonetheless found the scent pleasant and stated he loved the smell of "new car". Not sure if that is any better, but definitely a fragrance that one can love or hate. It was very long lasting and I received a couple compliments on it throughout my work day. I think it was initially too concentrated for me but dispersed as my day went on.

Trying to paint you a picture of who and what I think of when I smell this. Someone in business casual or suit at work - working at an office or white collar. It gives off sophisticated and luxurious - established. Manly leaning but still womanly no problem. I typically wear perfume in the morning if I am going to work or out on the weekends. I put this one on in the morning and could smell it lightly thoughout the day but not as strong as my other perfumes.
