Hopefully over time it will soften more after it has been through a few washes. I would recommend this item. Super cute. Washed it and put it on comforter. It's not quite as soft as I would want it to be but it will work on guest bed in our vacation rental. I think it will hold up well to multiple washings

The design is great and though it’s not really reversible, I would have no problem using the other side as the top. I do wish the pillow shams were a bit bigger but overall I love it!
