After I got into the Parfum, started hearing people badmouthing the "new" Parfum. Since I had never tried any earlier versions, and love this one, I have no idea what they're talking about. Great longevity, great projection, great scent on my skin. Occasionally layer it with Intense.
Its not my favorite but for a musky scent I like it

Excellent Smell and yes the Intensity as described by DIOR is very long. 9-10hrs in my experience.
After four hours the odor is gone. When you pay that quantity of money, you wait something different.
This has a level of class and sophistication. The iris is prominent for the 1st hr. Then it dries down to a smooth amber finish with wafts of a more toned down buttery iris. This was bought in 2026 and I remembered the initial launch in 2025 as the new replacement for the original parfum which had alot of backlash from the frag comm. Tbh I wasnt impressed with the initial launch either. The iris was really weak and dull. But im not sure if dior decided since the sales were low they've amped up newer batches because I was given a strip while walking through macys and smelled it knowing what I remembered I knew I wasnt going to be impressed but I was wrong I didnt even hold it up to my nose and could smell the iris at arms length. I thought wait this isnt how I remembered it and went back to test a spray on my wrist. This definitely been revamped I thought. Its strong and sillage was intense. The longevity was really good. I bought the biggest bottle. This newer batch is worth revisting for any doubters. I cant say it can replace the original because ive never smelled it. From what I read if only dior didnt use the parfum name it wouldn't have gotten so much hate in the beginning which id agree. Because it does smell really good. But who knows? Maybe because the hate and low sales dior doubled down and made it even better. Either way go smell 2026 batches and see if its something you'd wear. I know I was surprised.
