I’ve tried four other cameras and this one finally fits my unique needs. I use these to monitor raptors we rehabilitate and others I’ve tried wouldn’t pick up their movement consistently. These do. Solar charger is great. Easily set up and easy to learn how to use.
I actually use it in the backyard which is mainly woods and mountains so that I can watch the deer come in and out as I feed them
This is a great camera, however what will make it better is the option on the camera and solar panel coming in BLACK. I painted all 3 of the cameras I bought so it blended onto the pole where they are mounted.
Works well on wifi. Connecting to LTE, got it to work once at home. Just sits there. I was hoping to use the camera to keep an eye on our truck while traveling. I know that's not the intended use case, and sure enough, it didn't work for that as I could not get it to connect via LTE anywhere again. Software it a bit flaky, shall we say, with that process, with no real feedback as to what is or did go wrong. Also really slow. I'll use it on wifi to keep an eye on a fence adjoining where some homeless have sometimes roosted (in CA, can you tell?), but probably will never use the LTE part again. Live and learn. Cool camera otherwise!
It performs the best—great image quality—and the best part of the system is that it keeps working even without light or Wi-Fi.
I wish it had an actual lens zoom feature instead of just blowing up the original, but you can’t have it all at this price point..
Simple to install and operate, very much like the camera ability to follow the person’s activities. Well thought out and appreciate the solar charging feature
We don't have the correct space for the camera, so it's farther away then recommend. We get notifications 9x10 when a car pulls in. Now bad for being so far away. Worst part is the loading. I have the quality on auto but it still takes a long time, sometimes I need to quit out and reload. It says motion if the car is too far out but it still gets it most of the time. We got snow and i had to turn it off cuznit was alerting me all day 😂 I really wanted to see plates but again it's just too far from the recommend placement. The set up was easy, and the camera is doing well compared to The Barn Owl camera we had before. I love the that it has no monthly cost. Barn Owl charged for everything 🤕 I'm saving up for another eufy and a tower in hopes that the tower will help the image connect faster. When I open the app notifications it takes a solid 10-20 seconds to load/ "decyript. Overall it's worth it
Great camera, only problem is it takes a while to stream.
Recently my house fell victim to a rogue driver resulting in a loss of our home. Due to no power, no internet etc I needed something to record and monitor my home during the rebuild. I found this camera and the features were exactly what I needed. The install and setup was as easy as all the other eufy products. I added extra gb (data) via the provided SIM card and it was a snap! Super easy and I have been able to monitor my home and the follow feature is incredible. The camera can move 360 degrees and helps us feel secure while we are away. The solar panel provides the power and it has been one of the better purchases in the realm of security I’ve ever made
