I bought this two months ago. This is truely an exceptional outdoor Christmas item to display. I agree with the customer reporting the issue with the metal base on the large ornament. Hopefully I can get a replacement part to repair mine.
I bought 3 sets of these. All three sets the red ball base breaks. All mine broke after a snowfall and a windy day. They need to make the welding stronger on the red ball. All three snapped where the pole inserts into the base. These are too expensive to be breaking the first year.
These are easy to assemble and look great when lit or not lit. I love them.
