I got this in three colors, like them all. Been buying 3 inch board shorts for years and those are my favorites overall, but unfortunately I'm not seeing any fun colors for 3 inch this year, so decided to try 5 inch. I hope LE continues to make both 3 and 5 inch board shorts in different colors and patterns, I will continue being a loyal customer. I use them for walking the dog, working out, going to the beach, working in the yard - super versatile and good looking item of clothing!!!

Love these but,...
I have worn LE's board shorts for many years. They serve as my everyday shorts as well as part of my swimming suit. I love the material and the cut of them. The one concern I have is that the sizing is not consistent. I have shorts that are size 10 that I currently wear and others that are too small. I started ordering size 12 to try and insure that all pairs would fit. I now have size 12 shorts that fit and size 12 shorts that are too small. I don't know where these shorts are made, but it seems they are coming from various factories that use various patterns. I have kept all the pairs rationalizing that if I lose a few pounds, maybe I can wear all of them : )

Compared to the 3" shorts in my order these are way too big for a bathing suit. Can not wear them with that beautiful top.

Don't trust the size chart
Size chart is very wrong. I measured myself multiple times compared to the provided size chart. according to the chart I would fit 14 - 16, which felt large to me, but I don't only any lands end bottoms. The 16 is unusable, and the 14 is very loose.
