It sits well—it’s silky and flowing, but it’s made of two thin layers, so it doesn’t feel too flimsy. The bottom, where the fabric is gathered and flares out, almost feels heavy (but in a nice way). Maybe the dress is better for spring or fall, because I could certainly see how on a hot summer day it might trap some warmth between the layers. I ordered a S, and I am 5'6'' & weigh 135 lbs with wide hips; it fits perfectly. I could see it being pretty forgiving for 10 pounds either way. It hides the love handles and doesn't show bra lines.

Perfect dress buy it !
I ordered this in size Large I am 5’3 and weigh 159 with large breasts and belly I tell you that because I have a very hard time finding dresses that look nice. The fabric is on the thicker side but it’s a quality dress not thin and cheap looking I love this dress if you have a belly it’s very forgiving the length is perfect and so happy I found this dress !
