The coat is stated to be waterproof; the design is classy and unusual; it would easily go over warm clothes if needed. It is a plus that the hood is removable. With the lining it is a substantial coat and I regretfully returned it as I decided I need something lighter for travel. Also, if truly waterproof a longer length would be more useful. Gorgeous colour.
