I like the dress but when I received it I could smell someone else's perfume on the dress. I think someone wore the dress and retuned it. I kept the dress but I was disappointed that I did not receive it new and had to pay full price.
I was hoping with the reviews saying the bust was roomy and armholes large it would fit me, a buxom girl. But it has ZERO stretch. I am slim in the hips and couldn't step into it to bring it up; had to go over my head and my bust had to struggle past the non-stretch waist, even though it has a full length back zipper. I think that's a bogus review up there. The fabric looks cheap like an old fashioned satin, faux patchwork, it is not a "burnout" as described, and the colors are blah. This could only fit a twiggy, stick model who has no bust and could wear it without a bra and wear pasties to stop the side peep show through the armholes. Whew, if this was a car or an appliance it would be recalled and taken off the market. It's that bad. Huge disappointment.
I bought this a week ago in a size 4. Love the print snd the style of the neckline very classy. . Dress drapes loosely but very elegantly. Finish is satin feeling. . I’m 5’2”, 120 lbs. It would be a bit too roomy if I was any smaller. I’m a size four. Size down if you prefer a more clinging to the body fit.
I’m 5’8” and 150. I ordered a 12 to be safe but it was too large. I thought about ordering a 10 but the sleeve holes on the 12 showed about 2” of my bra on the side - very long waisted with deep arm holes and I didn’t think the 10 would improve that cut. I could have taken a full inch up at the shoulders to make it fit but decided it was too much work and returned it. Too bad. It was nice silky fabric and nicely lined. Just cut a bit weird. I’m small busted but still a 36. Way too full in the bust area for me.
I loved this dress. The material, the colors the design were beautiful but.......the waste line did not fit me. It was way too long for me and the waste hung low on my hips. I wanted it to work for my son's wedding but it won't. I have to return it :-(
