Cuisinart EasyPop Hot Air Popcorn Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has lots of nice features, but it shoots the popcorn kernels all over the place before any pop. Some other reviews say that might be due to the popcorn, but nothing said that “premium” popcorn kernels were the only kind that worked with this popper. It does look sharp, and the cool-down feature is a nice addition.

I recently purchased this product so that I could get freshly popped corn without a moisture build up which made the popcorn chewy. However, I gave it 4 stars because I don’t like the fact that this popper throws out a lot of unpopped kernels during the beginning of the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having set 2 fires using microwave popcorn and ruining 2 microwave ovens, I am very happy with the safety and relative ease the Cuisinart popcorn maker has. It is the healthiest way to make popcorn and I really like the cool down fan feature. The red color and retro type design make it pretty sharp n my kitchen. I tried several other machines, but the Cuisinart is head and shoulders above for performance and value.

Great addition for fast and easy, healthy popcorn with the air popper. The unit is well designed and will produce 15 cups of popcorn in about 2 minutes. The only issue is that you need to tilt the unit back while popping to avoid it from blowing the kernels while popping. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this unit.

I like that Cuisinart Hot Air Popper makes a healthy snack with no oil or salt and very little cleanup. I had to adjust the process slightly to minimize the number of unpopped kernels ejected by tipping the front of the machine up slightly and supporting it. This makes it harder for the unpopped kernels to escape, particularly while it is warming up. With no oil to clean up I can put the machine back in the cabinet with just a quick wipedown. My Whirlypop oil popper is still the gold standard but this air popper is great for a quick, healthy snack.

Works great and quickly, though the fan feature doesn’t seem to be strong enough to clear out the remaining kernels after popping is done.

I was so disappointed because I was so happy to get this as a gift from my boss and the first time it worked well the second time and after that flying kernels are everywhere I wish that they would pop instead of fly out of the shoot so I do not recommend this product either.

Kernels fly out before popping. Too many fly out. This is a poorly designed air popper. I would recommend they redesign and manufacture a new model that works more efficiently, and replace the ones that don't work properly.

Bought this for a healthier popcorn snack without oils or perservatives from microwave popcorn. The unit works really well but it can throw kernals out when its popping. Minor issue but it does happen. The resulting popcorn is very good
