Donna Karan New York Women's Strapless Jacquard Fit & Flare Floral Midi Dress

love the fabric and pattern but fit was off

I bought this dress full price for a friend's wedding, and loved it. I felt it was true to size via the size chart provided. It fit great, was comfortable, and had pockets! However, halfway through the evening, the dress zipper failed. I was able to get it back together with help, but it proceeded to pop open 4 more times throughout the night, and it really ruined my night. Sadly, I couldn't even dance at her wedding because I was worried my dress wouldn't stay on. And, before anyone says anything, no it was not too small. But this zipper was faulty and I'm pretty upset I paid full price to not even be able to wear this dress once. Not the quality I would expect from Macy's or Donna Karen for that matter.

The dress is beautiful! I absolutely love the deep, functional pockets—they are such a great feature. The fabric and floral jacquard design are elegant, and the dress feels perfect for a special occasion. The description indicated that the dress runs true to size; however, I found it to run a bit smaller than expected, especially in the fit. I would recommend keeping that in mind when choosing your size. Overall, I love the dress and cannot wait to wear it to an upcoming wedding!
