Mac Duggal Women's Embroidered Beaded Midi Dress with Cap Sleeves

I’m giving two stars due to the color and craftsmanship of this gown, however there’s nothing else positive to say about it. The waste sits too high, which makes your figure look out of proportion. The skirt area is also much fuller than pictured so adds extra weight. What I’ve learned this past few months shopping for Mother of the Bride gowns, is don’t be deceived by the item image. Typical models are a size 2, and very young, so don’t expect the gown to look on you anything like the one that’s advertised. I’m 5’ 6”, 145lbs, fit for my 50+ age range, and I looked like a moose in this dress. Not a good look, and bad form for clothing companies to exclude models that actually represent the audience you’re marketing to.

I received many compliments on this dress. Felt like a princess.
