This is a sturdy lamp with an attractive darkened brass finish. The shade is medium brown in the interior and not very translucent. The dimmer control works well with a Tesler Milky 4W LED Dimmable Standard ST19 bulb. Installed as a wall-mounted desk illumination lamp, this suites its purpose well.
