Looks great on hanger but not on body

This dress is almost impossible to get into because it goes over the head and is not tailored to accomplish. Also, of note, if you buy the petite it is 50% more than the regular size. This is discrimination against petite women. What is the reason?

Won’t go on!

Cannot even get this over my head. What happened with this dress? It should have a zipper. Pretty to look at but can’t get it on.
