Philips Avent Double Electric Premium Breast Pump with Natural Motion Technology

I loved this pump, worked great at extracting milk and was very comfortable. Unfortunately my baby is only 8 months old and the pump has stopped working. It now only works while plugged into the wall. For the price tag I’d expect this product to work for more than 8 months. Honestly very unfortunate, I wouldn’t recommend because now I either spend the money to purchase a new pump or just manually extract.

When I was in the hospital using the hospital grade pump I kept getting lumps because my ducts were clogged. After coming home and using this pump it empties me out so well and I don’t have to worry about mastitis!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flange comes out all the time which causes leaks… the product it not complete hands free, you have tu buy a special bra… and the belt that comes as an hand free accesory doesn’t allow you to see the pumping time… sometimes without a specific reason the pumping is not strong enough and the battery only allows two pumping sets

I have returned this pump 3x because it has not held a charge. It only works if plugged in the wall. This is not convenient for me and i will need to but a different hands free pump. The suction settings are minimal. Tedious to clean. Very disappointing and dissatisfied. The only thing I like about the pump is the silicone flanges.

I really recommend anyone looking into buying this pump to purchase another brand. The battery life does not last. I’m constantly charging it. I explained this and the company was nice enough to replace it. But, the one they replaced it with had the same issue. I charged it last night, used it once this morning, and already have to charge it again. It claims to last for 3 sessions (I believe) but barely lasts for 2. Definitely shop elsewhere. I haven’t even had the pump a year. It’s really unfortunate because it’s a good amount of money. If you don’t mind sitting with it with the charger every session, go for it (but then that defeats the purpose of having the belt to carry it).

I love the Avent Flanges. They are the best. I almost don't even feel them while pumping and I'm getting great production as well. They are easy to clean and I love that they came with a cover to keep them clean. I bought this pump because I was getting sore breast from pumping and feeding. This is my 2nd child and 2nd rounnd of pumping. I've tried several differnt flanges, flange inserts/alternatives and this honestly the best. The pump itself is good but not great. It pumps well enough but is a little loud for my preference. There are a few things that could be improved about it, but overall it gets the job done. I also like that it is portable with the belt, although I haven't tried this yet. I typically use this pump when sitting in bed for my first and last pump of the day.

I love this brand of bottles and thought I would purchase the pump to match. Love the quiet motor, compatibility with bottles and small size, but I’m having an awful time with the flange. It says it’s a one size fits all, this thinking is not realistic. The “universal” flange is causing me a lot of nipple pain. It’s discouraged my pumping journey. It’s a shame as pumps are expensive and it looks like I might have to jump ship and purchase a different brand of breast pump.

I don’t recommend this one based on my experience the flanges where to hard which caused me ti get painful blisters, I had to go see a lactation consultant to get new flanges.
