The problem was the height of the side of the shoe. It rubs my ankle bone. If it was a quarter of an inch lower the shoes would be absolutely fabulous.

I had super high hopes I could just wear these without there being a painful break in process but definitely take care to protect your feel in the process! Other than that they are super adorable, I hope after some time I'll be able to wear them more often!

I purchased these as a quick, convenient slip-on option for walking my dog around the block. While they are very well-cushioned and felt amazingly comfortable while wearing them around the house, they did not hold up to actual outdoor walking. Halfway through a one-mile walk, I developed severe blisters on both heels, it became so painful that I had to finish the walk barefoot. Despite being advertised as walking shoes, they are simply not designed for a sustained walking pace outdoors. Extremely disappointed with this pair.
