Samsung QN85QN70HAFXZA 85" NeoQLED 4K UHD Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 💕 the brightness of the picture and how quick the response is when I turn the TV on or change channels. I am very happy I chose a Samsung. It's my first time owning this brand.

Bright, very sharp, color is good, perfect size. Ok to respond. Perfect size for our home. Better than or previous TV. Great upscale. Average response. Cole is bright and sharp. Contrast is good. Everything is uniform.

The TV is really beautiful, thin, nice screen, fast interface. The only drawback is that BBC iPlayer is not available (still), if this was installed it would be a five star TV for me. I hope Samsung learn from this and prioritise getting essential national Broadcaster apps certified much faster, for a TV that launches six months ago to still not have any BBC apps is crazy. The AI enhancement features exist… but it’s hard to validate their effectiveness. I can’t say I’ve noticed a fantastic level of difference with them enabled. I would probably recommend this Tv to a friend, but any recommendation would have to come with a big warning about iPlayer.

The color, sharpness is disappointing. There appears to be shading at the bottom of the screen and the sound is muffled.

I find the responsiveness with this TV and its remote very difficult to maneuver! I am not totally technically deficient, but this TV makes me feel like i don't know a thing about how to manage my programing, my apps, etc. I have been on UTube to watch various videos and some of the buttons or areas that are descirbed are not where the instructor says they are. I finally had my nieces come to help me, and even they said the remote is extremely hard to navigate and figure out.

Watching sports and racing, I can see every detail with no blurring of loss of picture quality. One of my wife's biggest issues with my old TV was how the background sound would overpower the dialog of a movie or TV show. With the Adaptive Sound Pro you can hear everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family having the 55" Samsung Neo QN70H TV in our living room completely elevates the daily home entertainment experience. From the moment we turn it on, the display jumps out with vivid colors and striking brightness. Powered by Quantum Mini LED technology and Quantum Dot color, it delivers ultra-sharp contrast, deep blacks, and rich highlights that hold up effortlessly even in sun-drenched rooms. At 55 inches, it strikes the ideal balance for most living spaces—large enough to feel immersive without dominating the room. Under the hood, Samsung’s NQ4 AI Processor dynamically upscales lower-resolution media into crisp 4K, making standard streaming shows, movie classics, and live sports look significantly sharper and more detailed. The sleek AirSlim profile gives the display a virtually borderless, modern look whether mounted on a wall or placed on a media stand. Daily usability is just as smooth: the One UI Tizen smart interface makes navigation fast, organizing all your favorite streaming platforms and smart home controls in one central hub. Integrated audio features like OTS Lite and Q-Symphony dynamically match sound to movement on screen, pulling you straight into the action. Ultimately, owning the Samsung QN70H means never settling for average picture quality again. It transforms movie nights, gaming sessions, and casual viewing into a premium theater-like experience right from the comfort of my couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this TV is unmatched. I switched to Samsung TVs 8 years ago having only purchased Sony TV prior and I'm glad I did. We now have 6 Samsung in the house and each produce a gorgeous picture. And the responsiveness is super impressive when switching sources and playing video games. The uniformity is also super impressive. In closing, if you are debating about purchasing this Tv, the debate is over. Just purchase one of the best Tvs on the market and be glad you did.
