For kids, especially those just gaining confidence off-road, the lightweight frame makes all the difference. Its easy to maneuver and control, which means more fun and fewer frustrations on the trail.The air suspension fork is a game-changer. It smooths out bumps and rougher sections of the trail without overwhelming young riders. The OFF AIR 6 shares its 6061-T6 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame with the OFF 6, with the F1RST hydraulic air suspension fork as the defining difference. At 90mm of travel, it handles more demanding terrain than the smaller OFF AIR models, and the air spring pressure can be tuned to the rider's actual weight so the fork performs as intended rather than running too stiff for a lighter teen. Adjustable compression and rebound damping let a parent or experienced rider dial in the fork behavior to the trail, and the lockout firms things up for pavement or smooth hardpack. The dropper seatpost-ready frame, SRAM X5 9-speed drivetrain with 11-36T cassette, Promax hydraulic disc brakes at 160mm front and rear, and Schwalbe Rocket Ron 26 x 2. 35" tires complete a build that reflects what a progressing rider in this age range actually needs on serious terrain.

other than a couple of problems with the front fork, we have had a great experience! We bought our son a dropper post for christmas for this bikee, and the specs were very helpful! great job woom
Bike looks great and was certainly reasonably priced for the level of build quality, I would go as fart to say that for the money it competes with bikes in a much higher price point. The only negative thing that I will say is the front brake barely works (feels spongy and sometimes pulls to the grip without working). I suspect air in the lines from the shipping process as the rotor spacer was still in place and the brakes were never pulled with nothing between the pads. The fact I had to have it shipped means there is no support after the purchase to get this repaired so I will have to do it myself. This was my 3rd Woom purchase and 2 of the 3 purchases had minor issues needing correction upon arrival.Thanks,KD
