TRIBAL Women's Boat Neck Striped Top with Dolman Sleeve

I recommend this top. The color has already gotten compliments. As for the drape, it is oversized, so I have to lift and drop the shoulders backwards to avoid a somewhat dumpy drape on the front. On a different body it will look cute the opposite way—you just have to be prepared to adjust. Bc of the drape I almost returned for a size down so that I could wear it w/o adjusting—but who has time for returns (even though Macy’s returns actually was easier than other brands)… My one star off is that the elastic was too tight on my arms, and for the pattern. In terms of the pattern—it works, and is cute, but you will see when you see it up close—it looks better from a foot or two away. This is fine in every context other than me looking down at my shirt. As for the elastic, if your arms are lean in comparison to your size this won’t bother you. I also think if you are not a highly sensitive person—this won’t bother you. I kept this top however, largely bc I love the feel of linen blends (this is a rayon/linen blend) and bc my friend (who lowkey is a surgeon) snipped the elastics in it w/o puncturing the weave and now my top has batwings—which is more my style. For reference, I am early forties but am told I look “much younger” (whatever that tells you). I ordered the XL which is currently my true size per the size chart. Sizing up would have been WAY too big. Sizing down would have worked as described above. This top is not cropped but works as such with the front tucked barely into my high waist bottoms.
