Alex Evenings Women's Pleated Ballgown Maxi Skirt

I’m glad I bought this on sale, because I expected a bit more heft to this skirt. That said, I like the way the fabric catches the light and that it has a lining, and also some much appreciated stretch at the waistband (an asset when you’re eating and imbibing all day or night at a wedding or other formal occasion). But it could have used a slightly heavier fabric. I think it would still give that swish that it has, but even better, and also more elegance. The pleating can definitely be better, as they seem to be meant as sharp, wide pleats, but somehow not quite defined enough. The pockets could stand to be a bit deeper. All in all, it has a nice silhouette, but could have been made that much better either with a little heavier of a fabric.
