LG Gram +view 16" IPS WQXGA Auto Rotate Portable Monitor

Easy to use - high res - seamless with my MacBook Pro

Rating: 3.5 / 5 The Verdict: A gorgeous display held back by frustrating design choices and hidden connectivity requirements. The Good: Elite Screen Quality The 16-inch matte IPS screen is stunning. With a crisp 2560 x 1600 resolution and a productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio, it looks just as good as a premium laptop display. It's incredibly thin, light, and easy to slide into a backpack. The Bad: Frustrating Folio Stand The included magnetic origami-style cover/stand is a massive letdown. It feels flimsy, is difficult to balance on anything but a perfectly flat desk, and offers very limited viewing angles. A built-in kickstand would have been infinitely better. The Ugly: The USB-C Cable Trap & Zero Hub Options The biggest headache is the cable requirements, which aren't made clear enough. Note: A standard USB-C phone charging cable will not work. The monitor requires a full-feature USB-C cable capable of carrying video (DisplayPort Alt Mode) and power. If you try using a generic wire, the screen stays black. Furthermore, the port selection is bare-bones. You get two USB-C ports and nothing else. LG really should have included a built-in USB hub or an adapter option in the box so you could plug in accessories. Instead of expanding your workspace ports, this monitor actually hogs them. Pros & Cons Pros: Gorgeous, sharp screen; great 16:10 aspect ratio; very lightweight. Cons: Flimsy stand; picky about USB-C cables (charging wires fail); no built-in hub/port expansion.

Bought this on sale. Great portability. Easy to pack flat against laptop, light and does the job well. Easy to connect with a single cable. Folio cover that doubles as a stand allows 2 different angles. Still getting use to using - no instructions (pictures please LG ) but I have found a good set up nonetheless.

My laptop screen broke, the quote Apple gave me was ridiculous so this was a really good solution. I just sit it on my laptop over the broken screen and plug it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This screen is amazing. Original purchased one from a competitor and returned it as it lagged quite badly so was hesitant to get another however this LG screen has exceeded expectations. It’s large, sturdy and lightweight. No lag at all. Jus the same as daisy chaining a traditional monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this monitor to pair with a just purchased MacBook Pro. Worked seamlessly from the beginning, very happy with the image quality, lightweight and easy to transport. Doesn't take up much room on my desk.

I bought one and loved so much. I bought another one and now have set up two monitors connected to my LG gram laptop. Beauty!

I love it! Its easy to setup by using usb-c cable provided in the box. The LG switch app gives you flexibility to rotate the screen, very slim and very portable, the picture quality is brilliant so far no issues whatsoever! I do recommend it for remote working and much more!

Quite simply a superb quality screen, excellent viewing angles, colour and resolution. Incredibly lightweight and cover come stand works well all great for portability. Connected it directly to my Mac Mini M2 pro and worked beautifully first time easily organising the display arrangement with multiple screens in settings. Great price vs previous gram view and reasonably fast delivery.
