I really liked this primer, I mainly wore it when I wasn't wearing makeup up and loved the glow it gave. It looks great under makeup as well. The product did feel thicker than I expected and as I was applying it to my face I was wishing it was a little more viscous. As it dried it ends up feeling very lightweight though! I wear makeup daily and a primer is a must for helping everything stay on all day, especially in a humid climate. I used the Facegloss Hydrating Skin Gloss in the morning. It felt lightweight, smooth, and hydrating on my skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I really enjoyed the soft, glossy texture and how it left my skin looking fresh, dewy, and naturally glowing.
My everyday make up routine definitely does wash out by the end of my workday, and using this product I could see that my make up lasted longer than it does on a regular day. I used it in the morning and applied my make up over it, which I don't do very heavy coverage, but a slight tinted moisturizer blush, and this product made my skin feel shiny with great texture and was helpful in making my make up last till the end of my workday. The MAC Faceglass Skin Gloss surprised me a lot! It has a very gripping and tacky like feel which makes it a great primer. The glow is very very noticeable immediately and probably would not work for anyone who leans oily or who starts normal and their skin becomes oily throughout the day. It's relatively thin and lightweight that you can lay other face products on top! If you use this, you absolutely do not need need an additional base illuminizier like the CT flawless filter or the Saie glow drops! I didn't love the scent to it, but it wasn't unbearable or overpowering. My skin type is the type that starts relatively dry but as the day goes on, I get oily. So this was a little too glowy for my skin needs. I think this product is perfect for someone who has more dry skin and makeup wears fairly dry on them all day long, compared to someone like me who gets oily throughout the day.
