[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm normally a Maxi dress kind of lady. I hate showing my pale out of shape legs. I did lose some weight recently, though. This dress is out of the norm for me, but I thought this velvet number would be perfect for the holidays. I have it in a size 4, and it fits very nicely. It's fitting, but not tight. I have mixed feeling regarding the middle section of this dress. While it does give the dress more of a fitted look and even some texture; I do find it too much. When viewed from the side, It seems to make me look like I have of a big belly bulge. It's a love hate thing, I guess. I do love the arm detail and the beautiful deep red color. The back zipper works great for easy in and out of the dress. It would look fantastic at a Christmas gathering, with some sexy knee high boots.
