Beautiful but bigger than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure what size I should purchase, so I bought both a size 8 & 10. At first glance, the dress is beautiful. The rhinestones are flanked with glass "mirror" pieces all around the bodice. What I did not realize (or failed to read) was that the bottom skirt is layered with tulle, which made the dress very big and heavy. I also thought it would stop slightly above the ankles, but it was more like a full ballgown. For reference, I tried on size 8. The bustier was too large, and the bottom was too big. I have beautiful curves with measurements of 36D, 30 waist, 44 hips. weight 164 lbs. Otherwise, the gown is beautifully made, and I think a size 6 would have sufficed. I returned both dresses
